Terms & Conditions

By booking a tour or contacting Barrio & Jungle, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

Barrio & Jungle offers private, custom day tours in Medellín and surrounding areas of Colombia. All tours are designed for groups of 1–6 people and are operated by Francisco Cardona (persona natural), based in Medellín, Colombia.

2. Bookings & Confirmation

All bookings are initiated via WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed only after you receive written confirmation from us and a deposit or full payment is received. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Pricing

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and are all-inclusive as described. Prices may change without notice for future bookings. Confirmed bookings are locked at the agreed price.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated at time of booking. We accept payment via agreed methods only. We do not store credit card information.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancelled 72+ hours before tour: Full refund
• Cancelled 24–72 hours before tour: 50% refund
• Cancelled less than 24 hours before tour: No refund
• Cancelled by Barrio & Jungle: Full refund or reschedule

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

6. Safety & Liability

Barrio & Jungle takes safety seriously and only operates in vetted locations. However, by participating in our tours you acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks. We are not liable for accidents, injuries, theft, or loss of personal property during tours.

Clients are responsible for their own travel insurance. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all visitors to Colombia.

7. Client Conduct

We reserve the right to terminate a tour without refund if a client's behavior endangers themselves, our guides, or others. This includes but is not limited to intoxication, aggressive behavior, or disregard for guide instructions.

8. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. We will always offer a comparable alternative.

9. Photography & Media

We may photograph tours for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any marketing material, please notify us before the tour begins.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes will be resolved under Colombian jurisdiction.
